How Collegiva helps: We match courses to your goal and explain each career path honestly.

3

Routes include a national or state entrance exam, a university exam, merit on Class 12 marks, or state counselling. Confirm yours against the current official notification.
How Collegiva helps: We check the route for your course, state and year.

4

How Collegiva helps: We cross-verify NMC, PCI, INC, AICTE and affiliation status.

6

7

Fee payment and reporting

Pay fees only through the official college or portal channel, keep the receipt, complete university registration and report to the institution.
How Collegiva helps: We confirm every payment path and what to carry on reporting day.
TWO ROUTES

Which Route Applies to You?

Direct admission never means admission without eligibility. Both routes need the college and programme to be officially permitted.
ROUTE A

Entrance-Based Admission

For courses that use a national, state or university entrance exam, followed by counselling or institutional selection.
ROUTE B

Direct or Merit-Based Admission

For institutions that admit on merit or through their own process, only where officially permitted for that programme and year.
COUNSELLING EXPLAINED

What Happens During Counselling

Counselling can include registration, choice filling, document verification, seat allotment, fee payment and reporting.

1. Registration

Register on the official counselling portal with personal and academic details.

2. Document upload

Upload marksheets, ID and category certificates for official verification.

3. Choice filling

Select and rank your preferred colleges and branches or courses.

4. Choice locking

Lock your choices before the deadline so they are counted in allotment.

5. Seat allotment

The seat is allotted by rank, category and your preference order.

Pay the acceptance fee online and report to the allotted institution.

FAQ

Admission Process: Common Questions

As early as possible after you decide on a course. Entrance exam registrations, counselling schedules and college deadlines differ by year, so we recommend checking the current notification as soon as your Class 12 plans are clear.

No. Some courses use national or state exams, while others admit on Class 12 marks, university tests or institutional selection. It depends on the course, state, college and year.

During counselling you list and rank the colleges and courses you want. Locking confirms that list so it is used for seat allotment. Unlocked or late choices may not be counted.

Direct or merit-based admission is valid only where the college and programme are officially permitted to admit that way for the year, and the student still meets all eligibility criteria.

Only through the official college counter, college account or counselling portal, and always collect an official receipt.

No. Collegiva is a guidance consultancy. We explain your options and the official process, but we do not promise guaranteed seats, admission or placements.
